Beach Kindergartens and Outdoor Learning in Water Environments
Beach Kindergartens and Outdoor Learning in Water Environments approaches outdoor education in a holistic way with a 1-2 day training course given together by Prof. Anders Szczepanski (SE) and Gaye Amus (FI). This training will be an introduction and guide for those who would like to work in beach kindergartens in the future or take children outdoors into water environments. The theory will be presented through presentation, group work and discussions whilst practical hands on work, will take place outdoors by the sea and various landscapes like rocks, lakes or ponds regardless of weather.
This course is intended for early childhood educators, primary school teachers, environmental educators, policy makers, academicians as well 3rd and 4th year students studying in these fields.
